early signups

You have until September 9th to identify and commit to a book that you'll read with one other student in the class. Likewise you have until September 11th to commit to one of the student blog groups. So, why am I allowing people to start to sign up for book pairs or blog groups now? Because, based on experience, I know some students have ants in their pants (that's the technical term).

There's no need to sign up for either until after our August 23rd class session. However, you are also welcome to do early signups if you wish. Books are likely easier to sign up for, blog groups you may want more information that I'll present in class.

Head on over to the Books section to learn more about the book conversation project. Check out the Blogs section to learn more about the group blog project. After you've learned about each, you can then choose to do early signups. Just use the relevant links under "assignments" in the sidebar.
