Anytime you see something in blue text, then you'll know it's a link. Links can do a variety of things including:
- Start the download of a PDF, QuickTime movie, or audiobook
- Link to another page (or entry) at this website
- Link to another website
Currently you are reading what's termed an
entry. Just as a newspapers contain articles, websites like this contain entries. Links can also go to individual entries instead of the complete web page. This is possible through the magic of
permalinks. Permalinks allow one to create a link that shows only one specific entry without showing all the other entries that are on that same page. The permalink for an entry is accessed by clicking on the entry title link.
If you find yourself viewing an entry via a permalink, you can choose to see the complete page by clicking on one of the tabs at the top (News, Learn, etc.) or one of the subpage links in the subpage toolbar.
